A Rich Local History
Gardiners Garage has been apart of Gisborne's rich history for over 100 years. Established in 1863 by Sandy Gardiner who was a coach builder and wheelwright servicing the local community and travelers on the way to the gold fields.
A New Beginning for an Old Name
The Gardiners operated their Mechanical workshop in the center of town from the early 1900's until 2013. Gardiners Garage has had a few owners since and also moved location to 1/3 Newry Drive New Gisborne.
Not wanting to let such a historical piece of local history fall by the wayside, Shannon brought the business in June 2019.
It is big shoes to fill but because of Shannon and his team, Gardiners Garage is living to see another century and continues to offer good old fashion service from knowledgeable and friendly staff.
